Safety culture for those who need to coordinate production, sanitation, and maintenance across different sites and shifts.
Production targets, changes in volume, and planned shutdowns alter daily routines. Cleaning and maintenance put people in situations different from normal operations. Contractors, logistics teams, and sales functions increase the number of working relationships that need to function consistently.
Procedures may be defined and indicators within expectations. Even so, culture shows when someone notices a risk, questions a condition, or needs to decide whether work should continue.
Differences between shifts, sites, and leadership levels deserve attention. A practice considered unacceptable at one factory may have become normal at another. The assessment needs to reach these differences without reducing the analysis to a corporate average.
With leaders and teams, we examine the production process and routines in which pressure to keep running can alter safety precautions. Interviews, indicators, and observation can help identify differences and set priorities at factories, distribution centers, and the areas connecting them.
