Why this conversation matters
In 2025, Brazil recorded 2,232 electrical-origin accidents, and seven out of ten electric shocks ended in death. The numbers are Brazilian, but the problem appears in the electric power sector of any country, because the outcome depends less on the standard and more on field leadership, contractor integration and the reliability of critical controls.
