It was in Brazil, at one of the international sustainability symposiums, that I started my career as a speaker. Then within the companies that I worked with, always very close to the teams, I knew that when I visited an operation, I needed to leave something that was mine with the local team, and the way I did that was by sharing it in lecture formats.
One of the special moments as a speaker was at the UN in Paris, then at the ILO in Turin, in Tel Aviv. All the lectures allow us to leave a bit of ourselves and bring a bit of each participant.
From there, countries are added, the number of participants increases, and the legacy continues to be to build a safety that manifests itself in acts of care. My purpose is, in some way, to share this in every job I do, with a corporate, practical language, focusing on building this awareness and the impacts it can bring to each client.
My commitment is to Always bring a more broad and contemporary view about safety. More than 60,000 people have already been reached, in more than 40 countries around the world, visited with lectures that bring an understanding of what safety is.
The hallmark of each lecture is the energy of the purpose with which the theme is presented, we start from it, having as a starting point the why safety. Each lecture is given according to the principles of andragogy, after all, the adult is a directed learner and this needs to be reflected in the way we build the content in a face-to-face or virtual classroom.
I always add that the lectures are mostly an initial stage of my work with clients, because from the lectures we begin to highlight the need for skills development. When we look at the history of safety, we know that one of the main difficulties we have is the understanding of these skills before the development of tools, we often deal with this antithesis, which is why the lectures clearly pave the way for the next steps, which are evidenced there.
